About Me

Aki Barabadi is a communicator, marketer, and development strategist dedicated to fostering inclusivity, diversity, engagement, and growth in the nonprofit and creative sectors. Originally from Iran, her journey into publishing and communications began with her family’s publishing business, where she contributed to preparing art books and greeting cards.
 

Her passion for storytelling and strategy grew further through her Master’s in Publishing at Simon Fraser University, where she honed her expertise in communication, marketing, audience development, and strategic planning.
 

Aki is also a published translator and editor. In her free time, she enjoys creating Persian calligraphy art, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
